Your wedding can be the biggest event of your life, and should certainly be recorded for later memories. It's traditional to have photographs, and important to get quality work to avoid wasted money or images that lack depth and feel.
Churches can pose problems for photographers. The warm, cozy light and rich wood tones soak up flash and require a trained professional to get good results. Additionally, action shots of the ceremony or reception can only be taken once--people don't hold still, and it's your wedding, not the photographer's.
My training includes taking documentation photos of soldiers in field exercises or combat. For weddings, I can move quickly and discreetly and get vivid images of the event. Are people dancing? Children being cute or clever? Are all the groomsmen playing a prank? I can get these photos at once without having to stage a retake.

$1250 for my basic package.
This includes:
An initial examination and setup at the church or hall, so I can be ready at your convenience.
Four hours of photography on location, including photos of bride and maids, groom and groomsmen, families and close friends, the ceremony (if you wish), and the recessional and departure. The reception can be included in this, but travel time is counted against the package time.
A proof disk with 200 photos for you to choose from.
60 prints of the event in your choice of a leather or fabric binder.
Additional time may be purchased in 1 hour and 10 photo blocks for $150.
Additional prints may be purchased for $10 each.
There may be travel expenses outside my commuting area.
I will be happy to consult with your clergy or official, family and planner to arrange the time and location for each aspect of the session.
